Beyond Guesswork: Seeing the True Source of Your Foot Pain.

Our advanced digital arch scanning technology allows us to create a precise, data-rich map of your feet. This is a critical tool for diagnosing biomechanical issues that cause conditions like plantar fasciitis, knee pain, and lower back problems.

How Does Digital Arch Scanning Work?

The process is simple and quick. You stand on a specialized glass plate scanner. Within seconds, the system captures a high-resolution image of the soles of your feet, using color and pressure mapping to visualize how your weight is distributed.

What the Scan Reveals:

  • Arch Type: It clearly shows if you have a normal arch, a high arch (supination), or a collapsed arch (overpronation/flat feet).
  • Pressure Points: The color map highlights areas of high pressure, identifying the specific parts of your foot that are under the most strain.
  • Asymmetry: The scan can reveal subtle differences between your left and right foot, which can contribute to imbalances up the kinetic chain.

From Data to Diagnosis

This pressure map, combined with a physical examination and gait analysis, gives our podiatry specialist the objective data needed to make a precise diagnosis. We can see exactly how your foot mechanics are contributing to your symptoms.

The Foundation for Effective Treatment

The data from your scan is the blueprint for your treatment. It allows us to recommend the most effective footwear and, if necessary, design custom orthotics that are perfectly matched to your foot's unique structure and needs. This data-driven approach is why our treatments for foot-related pain are so effective.
